The Age of Romanticism: Introduction
Very helpful lecture ma'am 🎉🎉🎉🎉
oxford was founded in the year 1096 as per google.....but here in the lecture it is mentioned as 1167..?
Thanks a lot for your video. You did indeed a great job!
Your way of teaching truly infuses a great deal of interest and love for literature in your students. Please upload more of your videos. Highly appreciate your way of articulation, fluency of speech as well as breath of knowledge. Thanks a ton!
So fast and also without expression is boring class
With due respect, and I know you're a scholar par excellence, don't you think the discussion on prose non/fiction was pretty short compared to poetry? A satisfying discussion on Elizabethan - Jacobean prose isn't available really, as opposed to poetry. Do please upload an extensive discussion on this topic, maybe on your personal UA-cam channel.
Fuck speak in Hindi fuck you😊
ppl who are in 2024
All the details have been beautifully covered... It's really helpful from exam pov
Thank you maam

Ma'am thanks a lot my problem solved ❤ it's really good to know about the background history of English literature
Dear respected lecturer, Your explanation is marvellous you are well-read and worthy. One thing I want to point out that your utterance is too fast to follow. Could you slow your speed so that everyone will understand your explanation. It's my humble request.
U are reading or teaching ? U are completely a big failure .
Mam, u are befooling the audience by reading yourself. Try to learn how to teach from the seniors.
U are befooling the audience by reading the book. Follow the wh words: what, why how ,etc while teaching .
Ur method of teaching is minus. U know nothing how to teach . Be trained to teach.
Lol why are we studying history of this period as the most important writer didn't even care about the people and history of this.
I'm sorry ma'am but... How boring your lecture is !....🤢
Poetry - major poets (Spenser, Sidney, Shakespeare) and minor poets Prose - Prose Romance (John Lyly, Thomas Nashe), histories, literary criticism (Gosson, Puttenham, Webbe, Sidney)
- Dryden's works - prose, poetry, drama - poetry in the restoration period - prose in the restoration period - fiction, non-fiction, satires, journals, periodicals, diaries
Excellent!
You are amazingly brilliant mam.
6:57, not clear enough. There is a missing link, between what happens to the Visigoths who forced an excursion on the Romans, to the Anglo Saxons invading group who are also Germans...
Then create a video and upload
@@thelegendofnorth wtf
Lol they and them is from norse language
These poets and artists just bark at the peaceful time and when there is time of war other nation-wide tragedy most of them stops. Like the hippies in 60's it feels like human can't be stopped from causing trouble if they are not physically tortured they want be mentally. And mental torture is what we call art. I also don't like idea that art represent the age it tells about the period to which what does art told about 116yr war period? It's better to learn history then have these accounts which are not even available.
"Thank you for the captivating journey through the History of English Literature! Your lecture was an enlightening exploration of literary milestones and the evolution of language. Truly the best....
- the Hanoverians and Robert Walpole - scriblerus club - Cibbers - conclusion
Excellent informative videos..thank you very much
Its crazy that there are tons of videos about English literature history but most of them are trash, having disconnected pieces of information, no background of the age in sequence. They just put the information picking from here and there with no proper sequence of events and you would feel lost listening to those but to our shock they have quite number of views. Here we have nice lecture, with proper details following sequences of events and making sense with the least views. That's sad. You deserve millions of views. I truly appreciate to your lecture and your channel but I think you have stopped making videos. Wishing you well
Am extremely wonderful lecture madam! Y r a trove of knowledge!
